P&O Cruise Death Guest on Australian Cruise Ship Dies In Vanuatu
While ashore on Vanuatu, a guest of an Australian cruise ship died.
P&O Cruises confirmed that 9news.com.au reported the death of a passenger on the Pacific Adventure, the newest cruise ship from the company.
The spokesperson stated that “P&O Cruises Australia confirms a guest from Pacific Adventure tragically died while in port on Mystery Island, Vanuatu.”
We are offering our condolences and doing all we can to help them through this difficult time.
It would not be appropriate to make any further comments, as we are currently working with the relevant authorities to protect the privacy and security of the family.
Another cruiser died in May this year while swimming on Mystery Island.
Carnival, the cruise operator, stated that death was caused by “what appears to be an illness while swimming”.
